Nicole McMillin, MPA
Nicole McMillin received her Master of Public Administration from the University of Idaho and her Bachelor of Arts in Political and Public Communication from Northwest Nazarene University. Nicole is dedicated to investing in and assisting others in achieving their goals. The continual change and challenge are part of what she loves most about being a financial aid professional.
Nicole also gives back to the profession by volunteering in professional organizations at the state, regional, and national level. She currently serves on the National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (NASFAA) Editorial board; a volunteer committee that reviews scholarly articles of relevance to financial aid practitioners and recommends articles for publication in the Journal of Student Financial Aid. Nicole also served as the Western Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (WASFAA) Vice President for 2016-17, the Training Committee Chair for 2015-16, and as the Idaho Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (IASFAA) President for 2015-16.
Nicole's prior professional experience includes positions in state government, corporate training, and university level teaching. Nicole lives in Nampa with her husband, Ryan. Both Idaho natives, you can find them most weekends enjoying the outdoors snowboarding or golfing, spending time with family, friends, and their two amazing dogs.
