Mattie Bendall

Mattie Bendall serves as the Assistant Dean of Student Services for the Idaho College of Osteopathic Medicine.

In the year 2000, Mattie and her husband moved to the United States from the United Kingdom to Stuart, Florida. In 2005, after experiencing two hurricanes within 3 weeks they felt it was time to move from the Sunshine State and headed to South Carolina. It is in South Carolina she started her career within Higher education, initially working within the Registrar and Financial Aid Office. She then moved to admissions as a recruiter and finally served as Director of New Student Recruitment at Sherman College of Chiropractic in Spartanburg, South Carolina.

In 2010, Ms. Bendall became the Director of Admissions for the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine (VCOM) Carolinas Campus, and was instrumental in establishing the branch campus of VCOM in Spartanburg. From there she became the Executive Director of Student Services at the Campbell University Jerry M.Wallace School of Osteopathic Medicine, contributing her skills to establish the first osteopathic medical school in North Carolina.

Ms. Bendall is excited at the opportunity to be part of Idaho College of Osteopathic Medicine, the first medical school in Idaho, as it paves the way for the future of medicine in the state.
