Joshua Lundberg, MD joins ICOM as Assistant Professor of Family Medicine.

Dr. Lundberg is a board certified family physician who has enjoyed serving the residents of the Treasure Valley and beyond as their primary care provider in Nampa, ID since 2015.

Dr. Lundberg went to Duke University to complete his Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering, and then completed medical school at the University of Texas Medical School at Houston. Dr. Lundberg completed his family medicine residency in Memphis, TN, at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center St. Francis Family Medicine Residency. He also completed the Urban and International Underserved Track in partnership with Christ Community Health Services as part of his residency, which placed a special emphasis on caring for the underserved in the Memphis community and abroad.

After residency, Dr. Lundberg worked with anti-human trafficking organizations in Thailand, along with his wife, who is trained as a counselor. After returning to the US and establishing a practice in Idaho, Dr. Lundberg continued to learn how to serve the needs of people who have been through many forms of trauma as he completed the Global Mental Health: Trauma and Recovery Certificate Program through Harvard Medical School and the Harvard Program in Refugee Trauma.

Dr. Lundberg’s medical practice has encompassed all aspects of health and wellness, including physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health. Dr. Lundberg enjoys praying with patients and talking about Jesus when they wish to do so. He and his wife have three children, and they enjoy living in the Treasure Valley with all it has to offer. When not busy with medicine or family activities, Dr. Lundberg enjoys woodworking, drawing, and theoretical physics.
