Denyce Drinkall’s passion for education began right after she spent 20+ years and 6 different colleges in pursuit of her Bachelor’s degree. She saw how the persistence to finish paid off in her life and wanted others to share those same feelings. Denyce entered the education profession in Admissions with University of Phoenix and worked for this school system for 13 years in progressive positions with her final challenge as the Director of Admissions for the start-up location in Meridian, Idaho. Denyce then completed her Master of Arts in Organizational Management and taught as an adjunct for two years.
In 2008, Denyce was the first person hired as the Director of Admissions, to open the start up campus in Boise, for Brown Mackie College Boise. In 2011, she moved into the Academic side starting with a Re-Admissions position and adding Academic Counseling to her job duties. In 2014 she transitioned into the Registrar position and found that she truly loved everything about being a Registrar. Denyce is beyond thrilled not only to continue as a Registrar at ICOM, but so profoundly humbled by the opportunity to watch this new medical school and our students make a difference!
Denyce was awarded Admissions Representative of the Year, in her first year at the University of Phoenix and has also earned the Top Director of Admissions twice throughout her career.
