Thomas Rosenzweig, MD
Dr. Thomas Rosenzweig joins ICOM as Assistant Professor of Clinical Pathology.
Dr. Rosenzweig, MD has over two decades of clinical experience as a Pathologist. He is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology, as well as in the subspecialty area of Hematopathology. He is also a fellow of the College of American Pathology. Born in Denver, Colorado, Dr. Rosenzweig was raised in the Milwaukee suburb of Wauwatosa, Wisconsin. He attended the University of Wisconsin, Madison where he obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology. He went on to receive his M.D. from the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, followed by residency training in Pathology at St. Luke’s Hospital in Milwaukee and the Medical College of Ohio in Toledo, where he served as Chief Resident. He completed his training with a Fellowship in Hematopathology at the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. Upon completion of his medical training, Dr. Rosenzweig served as an Assistant Professor of Pathology at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock. He then relocated to the upstate of South Carolina, spending the lion share of his clinical career serving as a Staff Pathologist at St. Francis Hospital in Greenville.
Prior to joining ICOM, Dr. Rosenzweig spent five years sharing his knowledge of pathology with medical students as the Discipline Chair of Pathology and Histology at the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine – Carolina Campus, in Spartanburg, South Carolilna.
Dr. Rosenzweig is married to his loving wife Elizabeth, and is the proud father of five children, Steven, Andrew, Brian, Katherine, and John. He is delighted to join the ICOM faculty where he hopes to maximize his students' understanding of the field of Human Pathology.
