Todd Burt, MD
Todd B. Burt, MD is a board certified Diagnostic Radiologist with a subspecialty in Neuroradiology. He recently retired from private practice at St. Luke’s to become the Chair of Radiology at ICOM.
Dr. Burt grew up in Boise Idaho, attended Boise State University, received his M.D. degree from University of Colorado and completed a residency in Diagnostic Radiology at the University of Utah. He then fulfilled a military service commitment in the United States Air Force and was stationed at Luke Air Force Base Hospital in Phoenix, Arizona.
Following an Honorable discharge with Meritorious service, he completed a Neuroradiology fellowship at the University of Arizona. He returned to Boise where he practiced at St. Luke's Regional Medical Center for nearly 30 years. From 1989 to 1995 he served on the Ada County Medical Society board and was president in 1993-1994.
Dr. Burt has 15 publications in medical journals and has given a number of presentations at scientific meetings. Todd and his wife, Charlene, raised three daughters who have all chosen to go into the medical fields (2 MD’s and 1 NP). His family has been fortunate to live in the wonderful state of Idaho and enjoy the many outdoor activities including hiking, bike riding and skiing. They have also had the opportunity to hike throughout Europe and memorable treks around the world including the Haute Route, Inca Trail, Camino, Everest base camp and others. He looks forward to working with the other ICOM faculty to create an exceptional educational experience for Idaho's next generation of physicians.
