Tina Bronner MD
Dr. Tina Bronner originally hails from San Diego, California. She attended Princeton University for her undergraduate education where she majored in Sociology and Latin American Studies. She attended the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle, Washington. Dr. Bronner completed her residency at the University of Washington in the Seattle Primary Care Internal Medicine Track. Following residency, she and her husband moved to San Diego.
Dr. Bronner became a clinical faculty member of the University of California San Diego School of Medicine in 2005. She taught in the medical school in several capacities including running the 4th year student primary care elective, serving as a preceptor for 3rd year students in internal medicine both in clinic and the classroom, and attending for residents in the internal medicine clinic. She has practiced internal medicine primary care since 2004 and has recently become board certified by the American Board of Obesity Medicine in 2017.
Obesity medicine is a passion of hers and she hopes to share this interest with the incoming students at ICOM. Her husband Jason, who was born and raised in Boise, and their 2 children moved to Idaho in 2014. Dr. Bronner loves academics, continued learning, reading and is very excited to be a part of ICOM.
